North Coast Youth Career Connections
creating opportunities for young people to realise their potential
Since 1998 North Coast Youth Career Connections (NCYCC) has operated as an incorporated not-for-profit, community-based, local organisation. NCYCC is contracted by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations and the Board of Vocational Education and Training to provide a strategic approach to the implementation of programs which support youth attainment and transition. Current programs include:
- Structured Workplace Learning (SWL)
- School Business Community Partnership Brokers (Partnership Brokers)
- Youth Connections
North Coast Youth Career Connections partners with industry and employer groups, schools, professional career advisers, community organizations, parents, young people, youth service providers and other government and community organisations to assist all young people aged 13-19 years to gain the skills, experience and professional guidance to help them achieve a successful transition through school, and from school to further education, training and employment.
