Job Network Agencies

Job Network Members (JNMs) provide assistance to job seekers, based around issues such as personal circumstances and barriers to employment. The type of assistance provided by a JNM will be based on the job seekers’ employment needs and level of disadvantage in today’s workforce, as well as on the duration of their registration and available job opportunities.

A JNM will maintain regular contact with the job seeker throughout their time together, ensuring ongoing activity throughout their period of registration.

Every eligible job seeker receives Job Search Support services, which provide the help needed to find a job. This includes giving advice on job search techniques, career options and employment programmes, and with entering your résumé on Australian JobSearch.

If you have not found work after three months, you may be eligible for Intensive Support services, which include one on one assistance and more resources to help you find and keep a job. You may receive special training to prepare you for work, counselling and work experience. To find out more about the services for which you may be eligible, please contact your nearest Centrelink office or your Job Network Member.
